From time to time DHR will call with a need for a young adult who has aged out of foster care. Often these calls involve helping someone move, searching for items such as appliances, or simply providing basic needs. Although unexpected, it gives us the opportunity to love and support a young adult in a tangible way, not to mention we’ve met some fun friends along the way.
