What is Fun Night? Just like it sounds, a night of fun for teens in foster care and Created Ministries’ volunteers.
Who comes? We invite teens from local group homes to join us for a carefree evening featuring a taco-nacho bar, crafts, games, and prizes. During this time of fun and games, teens can enjoy being kids and connect with safe, caring adults.
Why do we host Fun Nights? These nights of fun, play, and low pressure give us the opportunity to introduce the services offered by Created Ministries, connect with teens who will leave foster care in the near future, show them we care, and share the gospel
How can you serve? With 60-90 guests, we need help serving food, enjoying a meal at the table with the teens/staff, playing games such as BINGO and basketball, assisting with crafts, and cleaning up. Use the button to request more details about Fun Night.
What is Traverse Training? Life skills training for young people lacking the support needed to thrive in independence
Who comes? Created Ministries’ participants, teens and young adults affected by foster care, young people in need of support
How old are attendees? High school seniors and those 18 years old and older
What are the topics? Trauma Informed Self Care, Financial Literacy, Affected by Addiction, Understanding Biblical Grief, Women’s & Men’s Health, Job Interviewing & Resumes, and Vehicle Purchasing, Insurance, & Basic Maintenance
